When should I contact an attorney?
Not only is it important to choose the right attorney - it is also important to know when to hire one. It has been my experience that the earlier in any process that you involve an attorney, the better the attorney will be able to protect your rights. There are many complicated issues that arise in civil, domestic relations, criminal, and business cases.
The simple fact is that certain activities need to be conducted immediately such as taking photographs, contacting witnesses, reviewing documents, etc. The earlier an attorney can get involved to protect your interest and to fight on your behalf, the better.
Please feel free to contact me by email or telephone to discuss whether an attorney would be appropriate for you. Not all situations call for hiring of an attorney; however, I would be happy to discuss your situation to see if I can help.

What will be the fee arrangement?
We do not charge a prospective client for the initial interview. This is our policy because we understand the hardship and strain that an initial fee would cause potential clients.
At the initial meeting, for which there will be no obligation for either you to hire my office or for my office to represent you, we will identify the potential issues of your case and assist in determining whether my office can help resolve your issues. My legal representation begins only after you have signed a written fee agreement. My clients have found our fees not only affordable, but also fair.
Different types of fees are appropriate for different types of representation. We will discuss at the initial meeting whether a fee will be charged on an hourly basis, a contingency, or flat fee. Please rest assured that the initial consultation is absolutely free.
